Welcome message
The National Civil Intervention Body is a humanitarian non-profit association, founded in Portugal on April 30th, 2008 and originally constituted as a civil protection association.
Recently, with the amendment of statutes republished on September 29th, 2021, it expanded its scope of action to the areas of development cooperation, civil emergency planning, emergency aid and humanitarian aid.
With the expansion of the areas of action, it clearly became a non-governmental humanitarian agency.
It is true that, already in its constitution, the human being was the center of our action.
With the expansion of its areas of activity, this vocation was reinforced.
The purpose of amending its statutes was to reinforce its capacity for action oriented to the organization's original vocation.
So we continue with our original institutional orientation and seek to reinforce ways to support those we are able to help.
So, we welcome you to our website asking each one to help us publicize our actions, thus allowing us to obtain support to increase the capacity to help those who need it the most.
